What can i do in Security?

The Official Definition Of Education
The Oxford Dictionary defines Security' as "The state of being free from danger or threat, or the safety of a state or organization against criminal activity such as terrorism, theft, or espionage." 

During your service, security is at the heart of everything you do, from checking your work building for devices on a daily basis or checking for suspect packages and devices on the streets when on patrol in UK. Checking for suspect devices on international duties. Securing building or risk assessments to make a location safe. Security is a diverse second career and one you are well suited to; this includes at the higher levels of consultant and operations. 

Variations in level will depend on factors in your service career including role, rank, courses attended and appointments.

With our program you can engage as an Educator from the outset of your career. All our programs are linked to professional bodies in the UK and Internationally, so you can be sure that the certification you receive are recognised by the industry and employers you are looking to work with.

  • What qualifications do i gain from this Pathway?

    BTB Level 5 Diploma in Security Operational Command


    Level 5 Certificate in Security Operational Risk management


    Level 4 Certificate in Covert Surveillance Operations


    Level 3 Certificate in Close Protection

     

  • How do i get the exemption to the Degree?

    Once you have completed the National Armed Forces Academy pathway you will be given an exemption to attend your unique Professional Practice Framework (PPF)  Academy that will give you the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice.

  • What is the cost?

    To access this unique pathway program, you must be a member of the British Training Board, this costs £30 for life.


    The Cost of the Phase 2  program is £2500.


    This can be funded in many ways (please ask for details)


    *If you decide to pursue the degree route there is an extra cost of £3500 which will give you a Post Graduate diploma (120) credits at level 7.
