Digital Health and Care Wales

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is our latest partner Organisation. We at the British Training Board are delighted to be working with them.

ABOUT DHCW

Digital Health and Care isn’t just our name, it’s who we are and what we do.

Digital Health and Care Wales is an ambitious organisation created by Welsh Government to lead on the digital transformation of health and care.

The organisation leads on large-scale developments that make a significant difference to the people of Wales as well as to health and care professionals, such as expansion of the digital patient record and the creation of a National Data Resource.

We deliver innovative and life-saving services and information to frontline staff, giving them the best digital tools to help care for patients.

We’re redesigning the technical architecture and developing ground-breaking digital services that will make an impact on health and care for the people of Wales.

Our services are already used daily by thousands of healthcare professionals, connecting Welsh health and care across hospitals, GP practices, community and the patient’s home.

We employ more than 900 people in a range of roles covering software development, networking, cyber-security, project management, statistics and analytics. Our headquarters is based in Cardiff and we have offices in Swansea, Mold, Mamhilad and Pencoed, and offer flexible working arrangements.
